Vigilant Personal Protection Systems PPS-623, The PPS-623 is a Panic Help Alert system. A wireless panic button can be worn like a necklace with the included neck lanyard, or simply kept nearby on a nightstand, bathroom vanity, or TV tray. It is a single function device, with a large red panic button. Depressing it sends an emergency alert signal to the receiver, which sounds an audible alarm alerting the receiver location that the emergency button has been pressed. A chime mode might be used for sick children in bed to summons their parent, whereas the alarm mode might be used for a senior citizen in need of emergency assistance.

The PPS-623 uses RF (Radio Frequency) to broadcast the wireless emergency alert through walls and ceilings, and the range is up to a maximum of 130 feet.
